BEST salad for lunch today :)

Mixed greens, green kale from the farmer’s market on campus, cucumber, black beans, corn, and pomegranate seeds. I’ve been trying to cut back on high-calorie dressings so I just topped it with EVOO, thyme, parsley, salt, & pepper. Served it with an avocado & cucumber water — such a treat!

THIS BOOK. Perfect for if you live in the LA area (there are also ones for Manhattan and Brooklyn), but the first half of the book has great information for anyone looking to eat healthier foods. He goes into detail about the pros and cons of different foods and talks about ways to eat out guilt-free. SO insightful.

Post-hike pomegranate, orange, & mixed berry smoothie :)
